One of my kittens needed immediate attention and they worked me in.
Thank you so much doc
as a pet owner, YOU need to be informed of ALL of the details surrounding your pet's injuries or ailments
addendum... I hesitate to write this... and, I think it's important for people to know... to ask ALL of the questions - whether you want to hear the answers or not.
This same kitty just died because the issue we brought her to St. Francis with - recurred and we were not able to get her the help she needed in time.
We have been going to St. Francis for all of our pet needs (dogs and cats) for many years. Their caring about our pets wants for nothing. From the "cradle" to the "grave" their compassion is unsurpassed. We strongly recommend this clinic to our friends.
Many of my friends use this vet and now I am too. I am extremely happy with people, and their prices are much lower than anything else in the area. But the most important thing of all is that the animals get wonderful care. I had to bring my golden retriever there because she had a wound that need it looked at. I was able to get in on a Saturday as a walk-in. The clinic is called. The flowers outside are lovely. Wonderful experience all around!
We came up from Huntsville...and going back again tomorrow.
Our cat Vince was huddled on the porch, not moving and making horrible noises, when we came home after midnight. We took him inside to inspect him. One of Vince's pupils was dilated, he was bleeding through the mouth and nose, and he had a small wound above his other eye. We called our vet and got the answering service. We anxiously awaited a phone call while calling the answering service every 15 minutes to no avail. We began to scour the internet for other veterinary options. We called several, most went to an answering service, and those that did not told us to drive to the emergency vet clinic in Springdale. We finally found St. Francis. By this time it was 2:00 am. The man who answered the phone was obviously asleep before our call. He told us to come in immediately. Later, we would find out that the man answering our call was Dr. Eby. Dr. Eby met us at the door of his hospital. He began administering to Vince immediately. We were treated as if we had a prize race horse worth millions of dollars. Dr. Eby was kind, informative and patient, as well as enormously adept. After tending to Vince for over 2 and a half hours we went home with him. We took Vince back the next day and although Dr. Eby was out on call we received the same kind attentive care that we received 10 hours prior. Vince took quite a while to heal and recover. I honestly believed there would be no chance of survival for Vince. NONE. I believed we were going to the vet to put him down. Thank you Dr. Eby. Thank you to your wonderful staff. Your care was absolutely top notch in every aspect. Your facility is impressive and meticulously tended to and immaculately clean. My wife and I cannot thank you enough.
The doc came out day after Thanksgiving to help our kitten, truly a kind loving vet, this really means a lot to us. There are those who make a difference, and this doc, hes one of those who make a difference.
Even my kitty (who is normally very skittish) behaved.

We didn't know that the recurrence was a likelihood and were not informed at the first visit.
